About Belron

Belron is the worldwide leader in vehicle glass repair and replacement with more than 10 major brands – including Carglass®, Safelite® AutoGlass and Autoglass® and is home to 25,000 employees, with operations spanning 33 countries and five continents.

Building on its existing capability and expertise, Belron is taking an industry leading position in ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems) recalibration. In addition, it manages vehicle glass and other insurance claims on behalf of insurance customers.

Belron served 18.2 million consumers in 2019 in 39 countries with a focus on service quality generating a very high level of customer satisfaction.

The Challenge

When faced with the challenge of moving to new purpose built headquarters in Egham, London, a sophisticated network infrastructure was required that matched the ambitions of the overall project.

A new resilient core infrastructure to support 300 staff at new purpose built premises was provided that will support data and voice services using high availability layer 3 switching environments from Cisco Systems. A range of technologies and solutions were implemented to provide high bandwidth, high availability access to their core services such as VoIP, Video Conferencing and private WAN.

Result

Successful project delivery – 8 weeks of planning and 3 weeks of implementation.
